What is Malleable Iron?

Malleable iron is a type of cast iron that undergoes a special annealing heat treatment, giving it the following characteristics:

• Good Castability: Easy to cast into complex structures, such as the body frame of a turnbuckle.
• Strength and Toughness: While not as strong as forged steel, it possesses higher tensile strength and a certain degree of toughness than ordinary gray cast iron, making it less prone to brittle fracture.
• Low Cost: The production cost is lower, making it suitable for mass production and general use.

In this year, the international situation is sluggish, and the economic slow down, more customers more like this type products with low price and risk. From the perspective of many years of participation in the Canton Fair, this is one of the most popular products.

More popular, more people like to produce, then more competition becomes, more different quality and price appear. For example M12 turnbuckle, the body of length should be M12 x 250mm at the first, but many years passed,  most body length is 205mm only, even less than 200mm in the market.  

One customer need to M12 x 220mm, become to very difficult. After compare many factories, the customer find Navigate, and they are satisfied for the body of 217mm length. That was very diffcult to keep the quality with competitive price. That was the reason that our price is not most cheapest. The quality and service always is the base we survice for 30 years. Another example: One customer told me they have a problem for their supplier couldn’t offer the same length of chain sling every time. They were head ache for this.

I don’t what can I say for this? Is this a problem? It is so easy for us. I just tell the customer：That is no problem for us, just don’t worry!

And I have proven what I said with fact, It is not a problem. The warmest words from the customer was that all the chains looks twins. That was the greatest encouragement for us.
